Limes Montessori offers Montessori education across the curriculum for children aged 3–11, with primary-age home education at the heart of our provision. Home-educating families receive priority when places are allocated.

Three hours of Montessori learning across the curriculum. Places are subject to eligibility, the applicable statutory funding start date, funding being confirmed and allocated to Limes, and availability.
Optional afternoon programme

£25 per child
A focused 90-minute programme providing individual Montessori presentations, guided practice and personalised support shaped around each child’s learning priorities.
Families with a regular two-day programme booking also receive guided access to our Montessori Materials Library. Carefully selected materials can be used at home to help children revisit concrete learning experiences between sessions.
Choosing whether to join this programme does not affect access to a funded morning place. Families may collect at 12:15pm. When allocating available places, priority is given to home-educating families.

Why we recommend two regular days
Children benefit from consistency. Two regular days allow presentations to be revisited, relationships to develop and learning to continue between Limes and home.
Regular places are normally booked for two consistent days each week during term time. A limited number of one-day places may be available, depending on capacity and the child’s circumstances. Funded families are not required to purchase the optional afternoon programme.
One-off registration and administration fee
£75 for one child or a maximum of £125 per family when siblings register with Limes.
This covers enrolment administration, onboarding records, attendance arrangements and preparation before a child starts. It is charged when private attendance or the optional Montessori Learning Continuity Programme is accepted and is not renewed annually.
The fee is waived for children accessing funded entitlement hours only. It is not a condition of accessing a funded morning place. The fee will be refunded if Limes is unable to provide the agreed place; otherwise it becomes non-refundable once onboarding work has begun.
What makes the afternoon programme different?
The Montessori Learning Continuity Programme is a structured educational programme rather than an extended-hours charge. It gives children time for focused teaching, repetition and individual guidance. For families attending two regular programme days, the Materials Library helps selected learning experiences continue at home with appropriate guidance.
Questions parents often ask
Can we attend only the funded morning?
Yes. Eligible children with a confirmed funded place may attend from 9:15am to 12:15pm and be collected at 12:15pm. The afternoon programme is optional.
Does joining the £25 programme affect a funded place?
No. Choosing whether to join does not affect access to a funded morning place. It is a separate optional educational programme delivered after the funded morning. When allocating available places, priority is given to home-educating families.
Can my child attend one day per week?
We normally recommend two consistent days because this supports continuity and progression. A limited number of one-day places may be available.
Who can use the Materials Library?
Guided library access is included for families with a regular two-day Learning Continuity Programme booking. Materials are selected according to the child’s current presentations and returned as agreed.
